Hi Luis,

How are you? I want to tell you about a marvelous book I just read. It’s called Extraordinary Women. I think it’s amazing. The characters are very well developed, and the plot twists surprised me every single time.

What’s your favourite TV show? Why do you like it? Tell me about it!

See you soon,

John

StructureExample
Greeting Dear John,
Opening It’s nice to hear from you, and I’m happy to answer to your questions.
Main paragraph 1 My favourite show is called ‘Cooking Challenge’. I must say it’s a great show. In this programme, there are some contestants and they must cook a meal for the judges. Then, the judges taste the dishes and decide which is the best. The winner receives a prize of 500€.
Main paragraph 2 I like it because, as you know, I love cooking, so with this programme I can learn how to prepare food in different ways. However, some recipes are quite difficult to learn.
Closing Well, I have to go now. Let me know about your favourite show, too.
Goodbye Best wishes,
Signature Luis

Project

Project Builder 1

Design an art gallery on a separate sheet of paper. Choose a name and design a map and some features for your gallery.

Project Builder 2: ‘Street Art’

Take a picture of street art (it must be outside the school). Upload it to the task. Describe it:

Project Builder 3: ‘Group Portrait’

You will take a picture with your group members. All together, you must represent a feeling (you will have one assigned). Upload it to the task. Once you finish, you’re going to describe the picture you took using Past Continuous.

Project Builder 4: ‘Mystery Object’

At home, you will take two pictures of an object. In the first one, you will only show a little piece of that object. In the second one, you will show it entirely. Upload those pictures to the task.

Then, on your notebook, you’re going to describe the object (material, purpose, etc.). Then your classmates need to guess which object you chose.
